Senior Awards Ceremony - Thursday, May 26th @ 6pm
The Senior Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 26th at 6 pm in the Woodson Auditorium. We look forward to celebrating our Class of 2022 by recognizing U.S. Service Academy appointments and ROTC scholarships, military enlistments and academic achievements, as well as our Woodson faculty and leadership awards. Students should wear business casual attire for the ceremony.
After the awards ceremony we invite all seniors to join in a Senior Sunset out back on the band field by the stadium. We will have a Kona Ice truck there with shaved ice available for purchase. The senior class began the year with a Senior Sunrise, so we look forward to closing the year out together with the Senior Sunset.
Please email our College & Career Specialist Christine Lieb-Mosley at @email or our Director of Student Services Josh Peters at @email if you have any questions about the awards ceremony. Please email senior class sponsor Stephanie Graham at @email or class administrator Paula Disalvo at @email with any questions about the Senior Sunset event.

- Cap, Gown and tassel
- Diploma Cover and Diploma
- Graduation Set-up & Venue
Please pay Senior Dues on MySchoolBucks. After logging into MSB, go to the School Store and select Browse All Items. Under Class of 2022 Senior Dues click View Details. Select your Student from the dropdown and click Add to Basket. Continue to your Cart and Checkout.
Directions can also be found HERE
If you decide to pay with a check, please make the check payable to Woodson High School and put your students' full name on the memo line. You can either mail your check or cash to Woodson High School, Attention: Senior Dues (9525 Main Street, Fairfax VA 22031) or drop it off in the Main Office.
Senior Dues must be paid prior to students picking up their Cap & Gown on May 24th.
Cap & Gown sizing has been completed. If your Senior missed the submission deadline, do not worry. We purchase extras in case someone did not get their information in on time or if sizing does not work.
* Do NOT purchase a Cap and Gown off the Jostens website! Your students Senior Dues payment covers the cost of Cap and Gown and we as a school place the entire order for that item. *
Cap & Gowns will be distributed on Tuesday May 24th after our Seniors last exam. All outstanding obligations must be paid or cleared prior to receiving Cap & Gown. This includes returning your school issued laptop!
Woodson Feeder schools will be holding Senior Grad Walks at each of their locations. Senior Grad Walks are when seniors who attended that feeder school have the opportunity to walk the hallways and be cheered on by their current students. Our feeder schools are very proud of former students hard work in reaching this milestone accomplishment.

*** The PTSO needs over 300 volunteers. We're building two shifts of volunteers to help with food, casino games, outdoor activities (including a mechanical bull - no joke), and more. You can sign up for both the 1st and 2nd shift or just one shift! Your choice.
This is an opportunity you don’t want to miss!!! It is such fun to see the students gathered together just being kids and having fun with their fellow Cavaliers.
