On Wednesday, October 11, 2017, all students in grades 9, 10 and 11 will take a mandatory standardized test during a four-hour morning session at Woodson High School. Ninth (9th) grade students will take the PSAT 8/9. Tenth (10th) and eleventh (11th) grade students will take the PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test). The cost of testing will be funded by FCPS for all ninth (9th) and tenth (10th) grade students.
Eleventh (11th) grade students are required to pay $20.00 for their test if they wish to receive test score results. Students who may be eligible for a fee waiver should consult their counselor. Students who do NOT pay are still expected to take the test. The test fee will be collected at Back to School Night or by mail /in person to Ms. Nielsen in Student Services (with the completed form below). Payment is due by September 25, 2017.
Please complete the attached form and return your payment in an envelope to Ms. Nielsen. Checks should be made payable to “WT Woodson HS.” Please make sure that the student’s first name and last name are printed clearly on the check’s memo line. Results will be distributed electronically by the College Board with an access code emailed in January.
