  • Availability - Don't let posted dates keep you from an opportunity.
Opportunities are frequently available long after posting.
  • Employment Scams! – Don’t forget to check out the company that is hiring. You want your work experience to be positive. The internet is a great tool for this research. Examples of search engine parameters might be: the “company name & scam” or the “company name & settlement,” or the “company name & legal.” Although it is also good to research the company site, they are never going to advertise any issues or problems they have. Clue to possible issues: the company charges you for training.
