Information about Lunches & Lunch Money

What will school meals look like this fall?

When we return strong this fall, FCPS’ Food and Nutrition Services staff will be ready to serve healthy meals to students and staff. This year, all students receive FREE breakfast and lunch. Find out more about school meals here.

Which cafeteria will my Cav eat in?

Freshmen and Sophomores: Cafeteria B

Juniors and Seniors: Cafeteria A

Students will learn their lunch block (A, B, C or D) during period 1 or 3 and period 2 or 4. 

Students, no matter what grade, can also eat in the courtyard directly behind Cafeteria A. There are picnic tables and also a tent set-up to allow more covered seating this year. Students can also eat in the Auditorium Lobby and on the benches in between the cafeterias in F hall. 

How do I purchase a lunch card?

This school year, Breakfast and Lunch are free to all students. But in the future, you will go to www.myschoolbucks.com and add money to your students profile.

Where is information about Woodson sports?

What safety protocols will be in place for fall sports?

The return to school brings a return to fall sports. As with our entire return to school plan, safety is our top priority as we plan for fall sports to resume. Where is information about after school clubs?

Does Woodson have after school busses and activities?

Yes, starting in October, we will have late busses on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for students to engage in clubs or after school academic support. 

What is the date of the first regular season football game?

Thursday September 2nd!  7pm, Home game v. Oakton High School.  

Building & Locker Information

Where will my Cav find out about their locker?

Freshmen and Sophomores will be assigned a locker, information coming.  Juniors and Seniors will be able to opt in, again information coming.  We have 2500  students and 2350 lockers.

Even if your student has an assigned locker, all students can use backpacks during the school day. 

Where is the main entrance to the school?

Front and center, Entrance #1 

If my student has to come to school late, where do they enter?

Have the student enter through the Main Entrance (Door #1), then take a left to go directly to the Attendance Office to check-in.

How do I purchase a gym uniform?

Information will be given out the first week of school in PE classes. 

When does my Cav need to take driver’s ed?
