College and Career Fairs

College fairs provide an opportunity for students to speak with a number of college representatives in a single location and an easy way to get on the mailing lists of colleges you select.  Watch this space for a link to "Getting the Most Out of a College Fair" as we approach dates for scheduled career fairs.

Career fairs provide an opportunity to learn about a career from people who are working in the career.  You can discover the good things about a career, how you can get started, what the career requires, and even things with which you might have to deal.

COLLEGES THAT CHANGE LIVES PROGRAM

This free college fair and information session is for students and parents. The sessions begin with a 30-minute presentation on the college search process followed by a college fair that lasts approximately 1.5 hours.  Students are able to collect information from and speak directly with admissions representatives from the colleges and universities that inspired the book Colleges That Change Lives by Lauren Pope.  Visit http://ctcl.org/info-sessions/.for details.
