College and Career Fairs

15TH ANNUAL NORTHERN VIRGINIA TRANSPORTATION CAREER FAIR FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

3 October, 9 am – 1 pm, Prince William County Fairgrounds – This career fair showcases the benefits of careers in transportation to inspire students to consider transportation-related fields while they make their future career goals and plans.  Engineering firms, organizations, agencies and contractors from across Virginia participate in this event.  Additionally, colleges such as Virginia Tech, University of Virginia, Northern Virginia Community College and Lord Fairfax Community College will be available to talk about their engineering and transportation-related programs.  For questions, contact Ms. Niambi Jarvis at 888.412.6297.  For more information and to register, visit http://www.virginiadot.org/novacareerfair/.

FCPS COLLEGE FAIR

20 October, 7:30-9:30 pm, Fair Oaks Mall - The FCPS College Fair offers a venue for high school students and parents to meet with colleges and universities to share information and answer questions about their institutions. FCPS COLLEGE NIGHT

21 October, 7-9 pm, Hayfield Secondary School - College Night attracts between 2,000 and 3,000 attendees.
